Happy Holidays

So! As we all know Christmas is soon here, 24 days to be exact and I still have NO idea on what to get for my friends, my family, or my wonderful boyfriend Kody. There's so many things to shop for out there but so many things that people may already have or that they're not interested in. I have no idea on what to get that people would like. I guess I could make some things at home or buy things but hopefully I'll figure out something.

So I listened to Christmas songs today. Not very happy ones but still very good. My most favorite Christmas song is "Christmas Shoes" My favorite lyrics from the song are "Sir I wanna buy these shoes for my mama please, it's Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size could you hurry sir daddy says there's not much time you see, she's been sick for quite awhile and I know these shoes will make her smile and I want her to look beautiful if mama meets Jesus tonight" Such a sad song but so beautiful, I cry everytime I hear it. Don't know how people can keep a dry eye when listening to it.  It honestly gives the true meaning of Christmas doing good things for other people and helping people who are in need. I highly recommend you listen to it.

What is the meaning of Christmas? Is it getting up early in the morning to look at what Santa Claus brought you? Is it getting together with family and spending time with one another? Possibly, but to me Christmas is appreciating gifts and gestures of kindness that people bring to eachother. It's not about the gifts you recieve but it's about the act of kindness from the heart. No matter what you get, a gesture of kindness can never be beat. I have to admit I take a lot of things for granted but I'm trying so hard not to do that anymore.

So as Christmas and other Holidays near I just wish you all a happy holiday season and may they be the best to you and your family. Let the joy of holiday cheer be spread around the world as we all enjoy a nice time with family and friends and also loved ones. Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year! Let all the holiday joy and happiness be spread around to everyone. Hope you all have great holidays!
